3 covers 150 words

These three pages where found in Kerrang! In late 2012, they all look similar and this creates good continuity throughout the magazine which means that it will sell well on the marketplace.

Firstly they all have the same and if not similar fonts used which means that the consumer can easily relate to specific pages from within the magazine, on the front page and contents page KERRANG! Is written in block capitals and is in the exact same font creating continuity.

Secondly articles down the side of the front page are all written in a font that is bold and eye catching for readers as they are skimming through the magazine stand which will make them want to pick up a copy to read it. The word WIN is in block bold font so that it draws readers in to have a look in further detail at what they win and how they do so.

And finally the model on the front cover is directly linked to the main feature story that says “I’ve had to fight for everything” this is obvious because it is larger than any other text on the page and Is placed directly over his body so that the consumer can see that it is related, also the fact that his band name is placed directly below this and is using the same text as on the double page spread lets us know that the band will be the main feature story in the magazine this is why the same model has been placed on the double page spread.
